Chapters meet once a week during the school year. High school mentors teach elementary and middle schoolers to code in Java or Python, for free.

How chapters work.

Once a week: Sessions run through the school year. Days and times vary by location.
Elementary and middle school: Designed for younger students. No experience needed.
Java or Python: Taught with our own curriculum, simplified for younger students.
Small groups: A 4:1 student-to-mentor ratio.
Always free: Funded by sponsors and donations, never by families.
In person or online: Most chapters meet at a school or library. Some meet over live video call.

High school students can start one with a few hours a week, and we help them get set up.
