Chapters are one-hour sessions for elementary and middle school students, held weekly throughout the school year. Trained high-school mentors walk students through a Steel City Codes–designed curriculum in either Java or Python.
Because mentors are only a few years older, students get role models they can actually picture themselves becoming — and it's completely free.
